Why: Why not!

Apart from the prestige of guests like Springsteen, this year’s show is gearing up to be mostly fun and casual — mainly thanks to the Tony nominees themselves. Unlike the past few years, when the Best Musical category was dwarfed by heavyweights like Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton, and Fun Home, this time around, the category is sparse and populated entirely by media franchise crossovers: Mean Girls, Frozen, and Spongebob. Even the underdog nominee The Band’s Visit was a warmhearted movie first. Meanwhile, this year’s crop of new plays is overshadowed by the biggest franchise crossover of all: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

There’s a definite sense of frivolity in this year’s offerings — at least until you come to the play revivals, where Marianne Elliott’s mega-production of Angels in America looms large. It’s the first time all eight hours of Tony Kushner’s landmark play have been revived on Broadway, and while Elliott’s interpretation arguably emphasizes grief over politics, it’s also impossible, in 2018, to escape the play’s pointed politicization.

The Tonys usually like to downplay the political — after all, the awards are as much a giant tourist advertisement as a celebration — but look for the ceremony to embrace the towering landmark of queer theater in its midst.

Other highlights to be on the lookout for include glimpses of Mark Rylance proving why he’s been nominated four times for a Tony, as well as appearances from Tina Fey (nominated for Mean Girls) and the totally random litany of rock stars who contributed to the score for the Spongebob musical.

And if you’re interested in predicting who’ll win, we’ve got you covered with our rundown of this year’s major nominees.

Nadal vs Thiem

Nadal vs Thiem Live Streaming French Open 2018 Men’s Final: Rafael Nadal vs. Dominic Thiem Predictions,TV Schedule and Live-Stream Guide,Rafael Nadal will bid to win his 11th French Open title on Sunday when he takes on Dominic Thiem at Roland-Garros.Roland Garros Finals

Nadal swept past Juan Martin del Potro in straight sets in his semi-final on Friday, while Thiem overcame surprise package Marco Cecchinato, also in three sets, to reach his first Grand Slam final.

Here’s the info you need to catch the showpiece in Paris:

Date: Sunday, June 10

Time: 2 p.m. BST, 9 a.m. ET

TV Info: Eurosport 1, ITV 1, NBC

Live Stream: Eurosport Player, ITV Hub, NBC Sports App

Nadal has won every final he has contested at Roland-Garros, so it looks like there will only be one outcome when the pair meet on Sunday.

As if we needed a reminder of just how dominant he can be on clay, the Spaniard dropped just three games across the second and third sets of his semi-final with Del Potro:

The No. 1 seed could scarcely have achieved more at the French Open—he has played 87 career matches there and lost just two—but he still has the hunger for more success.

Per Mikael McKenzie of the Express, he said:

“For me, the motivation to play here always is high, high as possible.

“But for me, every tournament, I believe that there is chances, limited chances in your career. So when I had the chances, I just tried to convert.

“Then you lose, you lose, but I gonna play with my highest passion and love for the game and for the sport to try to have success.

“I lost a lot of opportunities for injuries, and I know the years are going quick.”

There’s no chance the 32-year-old won’t be going hell for leather to win on Sunday, though there is some hope for Thiem, as Record‘s Jose Morgado noted:

That the pair have only ever met on clay is remarkable, and few players have had as much success against Nadal on that surface, even if the Spaniard has the superior head-to-head record.

Nadal has beaten Thiem handily in straight sets in both of their Roland-Garros matches, though, including last year’s semi-final.

While Thiem did not drop a set this year’s semi-final, the Austrian did not have it all his own way against Cecchinato, per the New York Times‘ Christopher Clarey:

He’ll need to be at his absolute best if he’s to overcome Nadal on Sunday, and sustaining that level for three or more sets will be difficult.

Thiem will also be in his first Grand Slam final, so there’s no way of knowing whether the occasion will bring out the best in him or add another hurdle to overcome, but he can at least make it a competitive affair.

Brazil vs Austria

Brazil vs Austria Live Streaming and TV Schedule,Austria have the unenviable honour of being the last warm-up opponents to face Brazil on Sunday before the South Americans travel to Russia for the kick-off of the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday.

The Selecao are tipped among the favourites to win this summer’s showcase in eastern Europe and are unbeaten in their last 10 outings as they make their way to the Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna.

Neymar made his return from a lengthy injury lay-off in Brazil’s last matchup, a 2-0 win over Croatia last Sunday, and the Paris Saint-Germain gem has one last opportunity to prove his mettle before the World Cup.

Austria may be the minnows compared to Sunday’s opponents, but they too have enjoyed some imperious form of late and are unbeaten in eight, having won the last seven games in succession.

Read on for a preview of Sunday’s friendly head-to-head in Austria’s capital, complete with the latest live-stream information.

With less than a week to go until the World Cup gets underway in Russia on Thursday, Brazil were elated to see Neymar make a scoring return to their ranks as they beat Croatia 2-0 in their last outing at Anfield on Sunday.

Brazil’s belle of the ball will escalate his preparations with a start on Sunday, wrote South American football writer Jack Lang, with Austria the unfortunate test subjects against whom he’ll hope to shine:

Franco Foda’s side seem almost unlucky in that it was only right at the end of Marcel Koller’s six-year reign in charge of the team—departing in November 2017—that their results started to pick up.

Austria missed out on a place at the 2018 World Cup but have lost only one of their 12 matches since the beginning of 2017, winning eight of those and drawing four.

Brazil would be wise to keep their wits about them in Vienna, too, considering Das Team’s most recent outing produced a 2-1 comeback win over current world champions Germany.

Foda has the team running in slick fashion, with the likes of David Alaba and Marko Arnautovic among their brightest assets, and ESPN Stats & Info touched on the kind of rare revolution that’s occurring within their ranks:

For all the attacking dynamite Brazil manager Tite has at his disposal, however, it’s the Selecao’s defence that’s impressed most of late, with his team managing to keep clean sheets in their last four successive matches.

Brazil haven’t conceded a goal in 387 minutes of regular-time play, and and ESPN FC panel recently discussed their status as World Cup contenders:

Aside from the win over Germany, Austria don’t have many more results of late that quite compare to that in terms of lustre, but anything other than defeat on Sunday would be counted as a turn-up for the books.

Tite’s last opportunity to test his stars before heading to Russia is sure to be watched by certain World Cup peers looking to get the inside scoop on one of the heavily tipped outfits, but Austria look like a tricky host at present.

UFC 225

UFC 225 Live streaming:Robert Whittaker vs. Yoel Romero 2 live stream online, fight time, TV schedule,UFC 225 is live tonight and it features what was supposed to be a title fight and what is almost a title fight. Aside from that weirdness, there is a slew of intriguing match-ups including legends of the sports and hot prospects. The event goes down at the United Center in Chicago, IL.

Headlining the PPV is Robert Whittaker vs. Yoel Romero in a non-title fight, thanks to Romero’s failure on the scales. The fight is a rematch from UFC 213, where Whittaker bested Romero over five rounds to lift the interim belt. Can the Aussie/Kiwi repeat that feat and continue to prove he’s the best in the division or will the Cuban Olympian win and cause all kinds of headaches?

In the co-main event there is another title on the line, though it’s a little less shiny. With UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley inactive, former lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos meets the unpopular Colby Covington for an interim 170 lb title.

The remainder of the PPV sees Holly Holm take on newcomer Megan Anderson in the women’s featherweight division, Andrei Arlovski looking to halt the heavyweight hype train behind Tai Tuivasa, and former WWE star CM Punk look for his first win versus Mike Jackson at welterweight.

The FS1 prelims begin at 8:00PM ET and that’s headlined by another clash that pits a heavyweight legend against a rising star. In this case it’s Alistair Overeem taking on Curtis Blaydes. Also on the prelims there’s Claudia Gadelha against Carla Esparza at strawweight, Ricardo Lamas versus Mirsad Bektic at featherweight, and Rashad Coulter opposite Chris de la Rocha at heavyweight.

The UFC Fight Pass Prelims, which start at 6:15PM ET, have managed to retain their four scheduled fights. The featured early prelim sees former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans take on Anthony Smith. Before that there’s a flyweight fight with title implications, with Joseph Benavidez facing Sergio Pettis. Rounding out the event is Clay Guida vs. Charles Oliveira (lightweight) and Mike Santiago vs. Dan Ige (featherweight).

Fury vs Seferi

Fury vs Seferi Live streaming Tyson Fury vs Sefer Seferi: Fight Time, Date, Live Stream and TV Info,Tyson Fury will make his long-awaited return to boxing on Saturday night after a two-year, seven-month absence when he takes on the unheralded Sefer Seferi in a heavyweight bout at the Manchester Arena.

Last time Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) was in the ring, he defeated Wladimir Klitschko to win an alphabet soup of heavyweight titles and assume the mantle as the main draw in boxing’s top division. His career quickly went off the rails, with a failed drug test, a backdated doping ban, offensive comments and announcing his retirement from the sport on more than one occasion.

A rematch with Klitschko never materialized, and Fury had to relinquish his titles. In his time away from the ring, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder rose up to become the top draws in the division.

Fury, 29, is back now, in a good frame of mind and ready to take back the division. Seferi (23-1, 21 KOs) isn’t an inspiring first opponent for his return, but it will be a good test to see if the former champion has what it takes to shake up the division.

Fury vs. Seferi Fight Info

When: Saturday, June 9 at 4:30 p.m. ET

Where: Manchester Arena in Manchester, England

TV: BT Sport (UK)

Live Stream: Showtime Youtube (US)

If Fury’s recent comments are anything to go by, the Manchester-born fighter is feeling better than he has in some time.

“No nerves at all. I feel like I’ve been a goldfish in a tank, trapped, and now I’m getting released back into the river where I belong. So just put me there and watch me swim,” he said Wednesday, per Reuters.

Fury’s upbeat comments reflect how far he has bounced back from rock bottom. In an interview with BBC Sport’s Matt Davis, Fury admitted he has suffered from depression and substance-abuse issues. A two-and-a-half year absence from fighting would be the death knell for many boxers’ careers, but Fury said the long break was exactly what he needed.

“I needed the rest,” said Fury, per Davis. “I felt tired of boxing, drained. I needed to be rejuvenated; 100 percent the break benefited me.”

Tyson Fury last fought against Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015.Martin Meissner/Associated Press

The self-proclaimed “Gypsy King” (Fury has Irish Traveller roots) will look to prove he’s back to his world-beating ways against Seferi. Fury is 6’9″ with an 85-inch reach, per Box Rec, making it difficult for his opponents to wade their way past a jab and get in close. Even when they do get in range, Fury has the power to beat them back with 18 knockouts in his undefeated career.

Seferi, a 39-year-old Albanian, has mostly fought at cruiserweight. He is a heavy underdog in this bout. As of Thursday, June 7, per OddsShark, Seferi’s odds are at +1600 (bet $100 to win $1600), while Fury is at a staggering -10000. Seferi has shown power in his career with 21 knockouts, but he hasn’t fought anyone of note.

If Fury is still even half the fighter he was in 2015 when he beat Kiltschko and earned Ring‘s Fighter of the Year award, he should have no problem pleasing the hometown crowd and dispatching Seferi with ease. It’s been a long time away, but Fury has the skills, mind and once again it seems, the desire, to be a world-class boxer.

A good showing against Seferi, and Fury’s name and reputation could soon have him in the mix with the likes of Wilder and Joshua, assuming he keeps up the motivation to be there.

Terry Flanagan and Maurice Hooker will now fight for the WBO junior welterweight title in June. It is unlikely that Flanagan will gain Hooker’s respect for his power at any point in this fight, but a good start is essential in denying Hooker from walking away with this one.

Flanagan vs Hooker Fight online play by play tv coverage video 9th june 2018 Terry Flanagan and Maurice Hooker will clash. Southpaw Flanagan is stepping up to 140 pounds after vacating his WBO lightweight title and is very confident of becoming a two-weight world champion.

Terry Flanagan vs. Maurice Hooker final quotes for Sat. One night in June, 1990: George Foreman and Mike Tyson share the same ring – just not at the same time. The time is dependent on the length of the undercard fights, but the ring walk is expected to be around 10pm – 10.15pm.

The 29-year-old has not fought since November 2015 when he sensationally beat Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf to win the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight straps.

Since then the 6’9″ behemoth has struggled with mental health issues, was hit with a doping ban and his fitness problems saw him balloon to 25 stone, having retired from in-ring competition.

However, Fury (25-0) reversed that retirement decision, has shed a huge amount of weight and now returns to take on the little-known Sefer Seferi (23-1) this weekend.

Horn vs Crawford

Horn vs Crawford Live streaming: Fight Time, Date, Live Stream and TV Info,Terence Crawford, a boxer with generational talent, is embarking on a new phase in his brilliant career.

After unifying the junior welterweight division with a third-round knockout win over Julius Indongo in August of last year—the first boxer to unify a division since 2006—Crawford is moving up to the welterweight ranks, where he will take on Jeff Horn Saturday night in Las Vegas for his WBO world welterweight title.

Crawford (32-0, 23 KOs) is third in The Ring‘s pound-for-pound rankings, trailing only Vasiliy Lomachenko and Gennady Golovkin. The man they simply call “Bud” has demonstrated his mastery of the complex sport, beating a slew of opponents at both lightweight and junior welterweight, many of them with ease.

The move up to 147 pounds thrusts him into what may be boxing’s most competitive and star-studded division, giving Crawford the opportunity to amass the kind of widespread fame his talent deserves.

Horn (18-0-1, 12 KOs) will be Crawford’s first test in the new ranks. The undefeated Australian broke on to the world stage with a decision win over Manny Pacquiao in July 2017 in his home country, a hugely controversial decision considering the punch stats and eyeball test favored the Filipino legend.

Horn will be looking to prove he deserves his status as titleholder. A win over Crawford would be a huge upset and silence many of his critics.

Here’s how to watch the bout:

Horn vs. Crawford Fight Info

When: Saturday, June 9 at 9:30 p.m. ET (6:30 p.m. for prelim bouts)

Where: MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas

TV: Foxtel pay-per-view (Australia only, link)

Live Stream: ESPN+ (subscription required)

The welterweight division may be Horn’s terrain, but Crawford is the favorite in this bout.

As of Thursday, the American is a -750 favorite (bet $750 to win $100), per OddsShark. The record books may show Horn beat Pacquiao, but the fact he struggled against the aging fighter doesn’t bode well for his chances against a talented Crawford in the prime of his career.

Crawford is capable of beating opponents in myriad ways, with power, speed, from a southpaw stance or orthodox.

He often takes his time analyzing his opponents, deciphering their patterns and capabilities over a round or two before taking them apart with precision. Sometimes it ends quickly, such as in his knockout win over Indongo.

Other times, as in his two-belt unification fight against Viktor Postol in 2016, the pain is dished out slowly, over time, eroding a fighter’s will as they struggle to come up with answers.

If Horn is to beat Crawford, he will have to make the fighter ask some tough questions in the ring. After his win over Pacquiao, the Aussie went on to defend his WBO title, beating Gary Corcoran by technical knockout in December. Not the most impressive of opponents, but it was another notch on his belt as he takes on what he says is his biggest challenge yet.

“This is an absolutely massive fight,” Horn told Jake Michaels of ESPN. “The Pacquiao one was as well, but this is even bigger. [If I win] I’ll be beating a unified world champion. My contract with Top Rank ends and I can negotiate a substantial amount for my next fight. There’s so much on the line for my career if I can win this fight.”

Horn will have to call upon all his training—including martial arts techniques designed to increase his strength—and physical abilities to win this bout. He may have a strength advantage over Crawford, and should be the more comfortable of the two at this weight.

Crawford cuts a slim figure, and while there’s no reason to question his chin, one has to wonder how he might react to a clean power punch from a naturally bigger guy.

Crawford simply doesn’t let fighters land those special punches. Horn will have to prove he’s capable of the extraordinary.

Abner Mares vs Leo Santa Cruz

Hello Viewers. Welcome to Watch Abner Mares vs Leo Santa Cruz Live streaming: Fight Time, Date, Live Stream and TV Info,Bragging rights in Los Angeles are up for grabs once again when Leo Santa Cruz and Abner Mares face off on Saturday night at the Staples Center.

With the first bout decided by a thin margin, and both boxers still in prime condition, this rematch is a no-brainer for all parties involved. Same venue, same summertime setting and the same belt—the WBA super world featherweight title—on the line.

Santa Cruz vs. Mares II Fight Info

When: Saturday, June 9 at 10 p.m. ET

Where: Staples Center in Los Angeles

TV: Showtime

Live Stream: Showtime Anytime

Tickets: StubHub.com

Mares, despite coming so close to convincing the judges he was the better fighter the first time around, has real regrets about the way he fought. Per SportingNews.com’s Steven Muehlhausen, Mares says he should have “boxed a whole different way.”

At a full boil right from the start, Mares went straight after Santa Cruz, looking to punish him from the get go. Looking back, Mares felt this route didn’t suit him well.

“I just wanted to tear his head off. I was going for a knockout when I’m not a big power puncher. Here we are, though, and I’m getting a second chance at a big fight and a big event. It’s all about taking advantage of this moment,” said Mares per Muehlhausen.

The 32-year-old has only 15 knockouts in 34 career fights. He’s much better off wearing down his opponents over the course of several rounds  Since losing to Santa Cruz, Mares has earned a split-decision win over Jesus Cuellar, followed by an excellent showing in a technical-decision win over Andres Gutierrez.

Santa Cruz has been nothing if not entertaining since his win over Mares. He earned stoppages against Kiko Martinez and Chris Avalos, those two wins coming either side of a pair of epic duels with Carl Frampton. Santa Cruz lost the first fight and his WBA featherweight title against the Northern Irishman, only to come back and regain his belt with, you guessed it, a majority-decision victory.

Though Santa Cruz has been winning by the skin of his teeth in many of his recent bouts, the 29-year-old Mexican is one of the top fighters around. He can throw punches seemingly forever, and his long, lanky frame gives him a good reach advantage over many of his opponents, including Mares.

Per OddsShark (as of Thursday, June 7), Santa Cruz is a -500 favorite (bet $100 to win $20) over his opponent. That might seem a little steep considering the first match was close, but it likely owes to the fact that Santa Cruz has kept himself busier against quality opponents and is three years younger than Mares. He’s also confident he knows how to beat Mares for a second time.
